It’s alright, that’s just life

I was writing a song called “swing swing” yesterday and below were the first two lines of the song which is funny cause I thought to myself “wow jesiah those are good”. Then the rest of the song was terrible but I really feel like many people could due to read the first two lines of that song.
God uses all kinds of people in all kinds of places to love.
Don’t sweat and fret the little setbacks, your life is more than a clock.
Makes me want to work on that song until its good enough for people to listen to the entire thing.

I feel like if Jesus ever saw the movie back to the future, He would have quoted it at this moment in time saying “Hellloooo McFly…is anybody home?!”
1 Cor. 14:1-25
I do believe some people have the gift of prophesying. I’ve experienced it and have had people speak into my life as in verse 25 making secrets of my heart made known. What bothers me is when people leave their church in search of having these gifts.
Psalms 90
This chapter is full of things that I should be praying about. Lord teach us how short our lives really are so that we may be wise, fill us with your love every morning, show us your wonders, give us success in what we do, Lord you are everlasting and great. Amen.

Its interesting that Jesus makes no mention of their faith, the scripture just tells how they obeyed what Jesus had told them.

Challenge accepted. I will try to be more loving to those around me and that I come in contact with.

Judges 17-18
Chapter 17. Oh micah, he made his son a priest and a stranger his father because there was no king over israel to tell him what to do. Then again how often do we do similar things today with idols. Look at how crazy people get about george lucas and star wars, harry potter or even Oprah. Idols are idols and its much easier to fall into worshiping false idols if Jesus isn’t truly the King over your decisions.
